Hello everyone, thanks for the welcome messages I have recieved today and I hope I will get to meet more freindly members during the time I spend on this site.
Well I won't bore you with my life today as not much of interest has happened instead I'm going to add one of my poems to this blog entry, i'll just warn you now that it isn't a happy poem so don't read it if you don't want to:

[U]Celebrity[/U]

She slumped in a corner
Paparazzi banging at the door
Tears running from her weary eyes
Pills scattered on the floor

Her glossy hair in matted knots
Her face stained where makeup had run
She wished desperately to go back a few months
But knew what was done was done

She tore the diamonds from her fragile neck
Saw them bounce across the ground
And in the noise of crowds at her door
Her silent sobs were drowned

Her body frail all skin and bones
She hadn’t eaten in days
Most of her was already lost
Still sorrow filled her gaze

She thought of all the autographs
The world knew her face and name
All that remained of her an empty shell
With a last hope to be free of fame

She prayed for peace as her eyes closed
Ever longing to be free, she lost everything
When she signed on the line
And became a celebrity

Outside they continued to cram cameras in windows
“One more cover shot” from the crowds roar
They’d find someone else to prey on
When they learnt she didn’t live there anymore
