Well, I've never attempted one of these before but I enjoy journalling moreso when travelling than in my everyday life which I am unfortunately in the midst of right now.
As of now, I spend my days working the night-shift, going straight from work to university and managing maybe 3 hours of sleep a night. I am not a fan of this set-up. University is very frustrating, I have to drive in order to get there from work, but there's nowhere to park so I end up getting a parking ticket every week on top of all the money I'm already dishing out for tuition and books. My favorite classes are film and history classes.
I am spending very little money and instead store it away saving for my trip I will embark on this summer, by far my most wide-scale attempt. I intend on living in London, England for the next year or so, working and saving money there before doing as extensive a trip across Europe as possible. I will be going to the Fiesta of San Fermin in Pamplona in July. This is something I've wanted to do since I was 14 and first read 'The Sun Also Rises.' After my visa expires and I've ran out of money, I may try going through another working visa in Ireland or Germany from which I would try and do some travelling of Africa, if not I think I'll go to New Zealand where I have some friends to stay with.
Of course these are just plans, and could change at any time, however, I'm very glad I decided to go to university for a semester before embarking. I was on the fence, I knew I wanted to travel but I didn't want to miss out on university and come back to it in a couple years when my friends would be 2 or 3 years ahead of me. I've instead confirmed that university really isn't for me, this just isn't the way I like to learn.
Anyways! Thats about it right now, I doubt much will change from this entry in the next few months, so for the next few entries, I don't maybe I'll talk a bit about some other places I've been and some stories I enjoy telling....
And if anyone reads this, thank you, hope you enjoyed it.
