I've just finished reading The Scarlet Letter. Though the basic mood is quite unpleasant and heavy, there's still some reflections one can get after knowing about sin and salvation, that kind of stuff. The characters in this novel are all quite vivid and the changes of their psychological world are all individual and significant. Besides, the symbolic meaning of the Scarlet Letter"A" is not certain, form "adultery"to"able"and"angel", to leave the space of imagination to the readers.
