November!! Where have you been? I have poems to show you. I mean, if you're interested.
Okay, so basically because no one's wrote on here for roughly four months, and because I haven't been on here in about four months too - I'm saying hello. How have you been? Writing much?
Wait, wouldn't you be spending less time on here since you have schoolwork to do? Haha, just saying...I'd love to see some of your stuff though, if you're not too busy. And yeah, I have the worst writer's block too...it's terrible. Might possibly be worse than yours, I'm afraid. Maybe you need a muse, some inspiration?
I’ve been away from the computer a lot this summer…once school starts again I’m sure I’ll be a regular! But yeah…I’ve been writing a bit, a couple of short stories and also some assignments that are due when school starts! I get these BIG bouts of writers block, and then its like someone flips a switch and I suddenly know exactly what to write…but just when I’m getting into it…I get writers block again :P
November! Where have you been? I feel like it's been awhile. Been writing anything lately? I have!
Haha yeah, that's why I like em too. I wish I could understand them too. Oh, yeah, odi et amo is Latin for "I love and I hate". Catullus was trying to show how conflicted he was about this one woman he loved. Sometimes he loved, her, sometimes he didn't. Good guess! What other poets do you like?
yeah totally...I love TS Elliots poems, even when I don't quite understand them...they just sound nice :P I have a question...what does "Odi et amo" mean? Is it latin...or something else?
oh no problem! I love the G.W. quote, I just think it's very true and honest (and from our first pres. too!) And we should totally start a T.S. Eliot thread! I love his poetry but...it's very hard to understand sometimes :P
hi! thanks for posting on my into thread! I like your sig...the George Washington quote happens to be a personal favorite! And TS Elliot...well hes a favorite peot of mine I love "the Waste Land". Frost too, as I mentioned.
