I confess to a bit of hyperbole. Hey, it is a literary forum! Actually I was thinking it may be time to revisit the work. I read it about 6 months after it was published so the second look is long overdue.
hahahahaha come on!!!! It wasn't that depresing!! A critic said sth like this: The laughing and the crying was separated by a comma. It made me laugh a lot that book. I love the innocence. And yes it was sad also,but not that much
Thanks for being a friend. I still don't know how all this works yet. Angela's Ashes was one of the most depressing books I ever read. I couldn't even keep it on the bookshelf for fear I'd read it again.
Yes. I loved his 1st book"Angela's Ashes", I still didn't read the 2nd "Ti's"...
