*Living for Pleasure*-you said.I hope that you imagine pleasure in an way of Self -Improvement,to reach *perfection*as Oscar Wilde pointed in his work.My lifetime was a way of self -improvement,which resulted in win over old age.See,i have privilege to announce :I have found my Secret Grail of eternal youth.I have written an e-book on this theme named:Long Live Witches What are your experience of staying young?Do you picture yourself in the future as a young man?
Hi, yes for me one of the main points of Dorian Gray is the importance of art. For Wilde art was the aspect of life, it was life. Of course there should be no simple reading of Dorian Gray, but for me it also has to do with living for pleasure and living in the moment, as well as disregarding ideas of morality in art. Who can not look upon the image of a younger self and feel pity and loss?
HI Having seen your favorite book:The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde no wonder you visited my Profile.I hope you read my abstractorian Gray&A Conversation with Oscar Wilde I would like to know your opinion and interpretation of this masterpiece. What i am interested in is that there was no Devil to play an active role/as in Goethe's and Bulgakov's works./Faust and Master and Margarita/I have seen some interpret Lord Henry played a Devil.I don't agree with that. The picture was just an idea to come from and Devil doesn't mean a live person. The most important is Wilde's regard to Life as Art , main goal of life is self improvement. Regards,
