To be very honest, the discussion you mention of the John Norman books did not thrill me either, the whole world of Gor did. I took some of the things I did not like because I loved some of the other things in the books. I read a few books out of order because the bookstore did not have the book I needed {that was the days before the internet}. I would like to go back to read them again. Maybe that will be my New Year's Resolution.
