Ah! Now you surely open the flood gates for a great debate? Invite a discussion about Wilde and Dorian Gray? I mean if you will use that many exclamation marks on my visitor message board.
So, I finished The Picture of Dorian Gray. You are right, Lord Henry cannot be held responsible for Dorian's corruption. I tabbed many quotable passages that spoke to my own sense of hedonism and sensory appetite. It was a good read and I will add it to my reading journal happily with 3 and a half stars out of five.
OK, don't tell me any more about the book. I haven't made up my mind about things yet. Glad you saw the parts.
So did u go to that part. I'm very cool. I got a used iPod and I'm using it now
hey, have you been on this part of the forum. It's all about Oscar Wilde/ The picture of Dorian Gray. http://www.online-literature.com/for...lay.php?f=1089
A3- I hope you are not getting killed by exams. I have not gotten around to reading your stuff- I just went back to work. I am also applying for another job and juggling way too much. Just wanted to let you know- say, what is that picture to the left there? Victorian authors? Be well
Not to go on and on about this song, but you can see Peter, Paul, and Mary's version from 1966. (Era of flower and mind altering stuff). www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wik2uc69WbU I'm also reading The Picture of Dorian Gray. It is actually a really good book. Thought provoking, but not mind numbing. Know what I mean? Just the right thing to read after a long day at work or school.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uwerUSPw8Y&NR=1 This is the one we sing over and over and over again. It works like a charm! It's tabbed on my computer.
Hey, I emailed to let you know I am backed up here. I'll need some time to get through your stuff. I hope that is ok?
OK, I will still be here when you get back. I am not going anywhere, just hanging around the house. You have a good holiday too.
