  1. thanks fore the present the clip was great. You know that song always reminds me of the movie the Poseidon Adventure always have. I may have to watch that today. It is Friday here and my last offical day of holidays I am back to work on Monday. I ahve been very busy lunching and catching up on movies this week so I promised myself a day at home relaxing so I now know what movie I will be watching.
  2. Thanks Virgil I was out with a couple of the girls from bookclub yesterday we went to the movies and then for coffee. There were five of us that wanted to do a play so we decided in Twelfth Knight. The local library is closed here today so I will pop in on Monday and get a copy that is used for study which should help. Once we read the play an discuss it we have decided we will go and see the local threater group do the play which should be great.
  3. Happy New Year Jo. I leave you with a present: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=eG3afAIi6IQ. Now I'm not sure I like the back beat they put to it, but the video is fabulous.
  4. Jo, make sure you have a Shakespeare edition that provides notes to the outdated words. And if you had an edition that explained a few of the obscure things that would help also. The problem some people have with Shakespeare is not understanding outdated language and elements. Once you get beyond that, he's actually quite easy.
  5. Virgil thanks for the Shakespeher update. I just got back from the movies with a few friends from book club and we decided it was time we give him a go. I really didn't cover him at all in high school so this will be a real test for me. I will let you know how I go.
  6. Thanks for the quiz all done.
  7. Aunt Shecky has allowed me to put out one of her quizes of the week. Oh do give it a try: http://www.online-literature.com/for...t=38480&page=5, post #70. It's a lot of fun.
  8. Yes, I hook it up to my car too. I have almost an hour commute to work. I also car pool. On days I drive I hook up my ipod to the car. On days I'm a passenger, I sit in the back and listen to it with ear phones.
  9. Now that I know how to use my Ipod I love it. No matter what mood I am in there is something I can play and even better I can hook it up to my car so I can use it when I am driving. It is great.
  10. You're right about progress in general, but I have to admit that an ipod is the greatest invention I have seen in recent years. I love my ipod. It did take me a while to get the hang of it. I'm sure there are things I don't realize. But what a pleasure to have all one's music and audio on one's fingertips.
