  1. Of course.
  2. Can I have a conversation with you?
  3. Last time I voted it was for UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) but not because I am a 'little Englander', as England is - not to put too fine a point on it- already 'buggered'. If you want to know why and, more importantly, how, I recommend that you read my novel Pro Bono Publico which can be ordered through any bookshop or via Amazon. It will tell you exactly why I refuse to support the parliamentary parties in the UK.
  4. Who do you support?
  5. Well, obviously, propaganda is necessary if a political party wants to influence voters. Campaigns are used in order spread the propaganda as widely as possible. The third element, namely, the candidates, may or may not be acceptable according to individual preference but most voters do not vote for a candidate but for a party. Personally, I don't support any of the existing parties in the UK parliament and vote by thinking outside of the box.
  6. I don't the propaganda, the campaigns, the canidates?
  7. In what way?
  8. Are british politics anywhere as stupid as american politics?
  9. Great works of literature often use the story as a framework in which to express various philosophical ideas which the writer wants to impart to the reader, but the story has to be good if it is going to attract a readership. Some people read for the philosophy, some for the story and others read for both. Personally, I read for the story because, as I have said, living and observing other people should give one enough insight into the way the world works; although this can be verified and extended by reading great writers. Because someone reads soley for pleasure, doesn't mean that they have to read pulp fiction. My favourite author isn't a great writer but he saw as much of the world and experienced an adventurous life in excess of many major writers and he tells a story as well, and even better, than some of them.
  10. Also, please mistake for one that reads for escapement. Escapement is unsatisfying for me, since it is only temporary and imaginary.
