I just looked at the pictures of your son, he's adorable. How old is he now? Is that you in the back on the horse? That is certainly beautiful country.
I look forward to seeing your pictures; I also noticed you put a few more in your albums...beautiful.
Papayahed had it right; "in spite of Old Spice"... I'm about to post a few older pictures of my son on the "Pictures taken by you" thread. I know you would appreciate them.
Thank you for giving me a holler! I've been working a bit more and my daughter has to use the computer quite a bit for homework; so I jump on in between. How are things with you? Yes, Jocky is on every once in a while; and it's always good to see him too.
Stopping by to say howdy from the Republic. Haven't seen you on the Blokes thread for a spell. Course, I ain't bin on thar in a week o' Sundays my sef. I see Jocky's back in town. Well, I bess be gettin along. Gilliatt
The wife would tell you she is not lucky since I leave many projects about 70% complete. There is one project I finsished and am quite proud of. About ten years ago I built a wood and canvas canoe. In fact I have been meaning to share some photos and a description on Litnet, perhaps in a blog one day. Made you feel like a girl again?!!, wow, those vacuum tubes have more power than I could have imagined. Gilliatt
Thank you, Gilliatt. How wonderful it would be to have someone who could build furniture...and, oh, cabinets...how I would love wood kitchen cabinets. Your wife is a lucky woman. I loved my gift on the blokes page; made me feel like a girl again!
Your words are too kind, but thank you. Who knows?, with the sluggish economy and fears of layoffs, you just might find me in Rome selling watercolors on the Spanish Steps! Actually, I have earned a little side cash selling furniture I made. Here again, that was a few years back. Now I find myself in a situation if I were to build anything, it had better go to the betterment of the house! or so says the old lady! ha Oh, happy Mother's Day. I left you a gift on the Blokes Thread. Gilliatt
Your art and photography go well beyond the ordinary; they have a heart and momentum all their own. You should definitely begin again! I think you should test some of this out on the market or in contests as well!
Thanks for visiting my albums and the compliment. Sadly, many of the drawings and paintings are from years ago, although I am beginning to feel the itch thanks to Toni's and St. Lukes inspiration. Regards, Gilliatt
