Qimissung, Good to reconnect. I just had my break and all I can say is that it was AWESOME! A staycation was just what the doctor called for. I did not go to any big cities to visit people, I just relaxed and moved boxes. Ugh! I'll upload a picture of my son and I with a bunch of boxes behind us. We are closing on the log cabin next week. Who knew that it would all work out. I was feeling pretty hopeless for a while, but what can you do? I bet you can't wait until your vacation! Enjoy it!

I'm glad you're OK. I've been checking CNN frequently so I have seen a lot of the damage that was inflicted by the storm. I hope Virgil and Pussnboots are OK! I'm pretty sure they must be without electricity, but I hope that's it. I haven't heard much mention of Staten Island on the news, so it's hard to tell. Take care.
We got nothing. The winds were blowing, but very high up in the atmosphere. I think Bienvenue in Penn. got it harder than we did. NJ is devastated. My family is fine, but they have no power and it is anticipated they wouldn't have power for several more days. The NJ shore is demolished. The board walk at Atlantic City it gone, just the cement barrings are left. I was a bit emotional looking through the pictures. I really feel for the flood victims- its a horrible loss. The flooding in NYC is/was catastrophic. I hope Virgil and Puss are well. They probably aren't on-line because they may be without power. Thanks for listening to me dump. I'm not even a victim.
