  1. Hey that's a great trick with the dog lips. I'll have to remember that next time I get a pup. Mild autism, really? I would never guess. Don't worry, even if true, a person's heart is what counts. So you've been on Staten Island? Yes we do have great pizza here, but the pizza where I grew up in Brooklyn is even better. Hey I'll let you in on a secret on who my wife is. Take a guess but do it in a PM.
  2. I was sort of shocked that the only official 9/11 memorial I saw was on Staten Island. Also, the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life was on Staten Island xD.

I always yelp loudly when he bites and chews, especially because we got him at only six weeks old, and weeks 7-8 are the weeks where they learn respect and how to play nicely from their mothers. Uh oh... also, I was taught a trick where you curl the upper lip over their canines, and then when they try to bite, they only get themselves. It doesn't hurt them, but it certainly is discouraging.

I'll certainly let you know the dates when I have them, it would be nice to meet you instead of type to you, lol. Unfortunately, you'd get to experience my mild autism and inability to speak articulately. o_O

Cheers, Virg, have a great day. =)
  3. I'm in Staten Island which is sort of the forgotten borough. Hey we'll have to try to meet. I would love to treat you to lunch or something. When you know which dates you'll be in NY let me know and I'll make sure to set a day aside. If you like I'll even see if I can take you to an old blues club in Manahattan I used to go when I was younger. Hopefully it still exists. If not we'll find another. And I'll have my wife along, so don't think I'm some lech or something.

Hey as to teething, I once learned an interesting trick. Pups love to teeth your hands and they need to learn that use of their teeth is a no-no. When the pup uses his teeth on your hands, pull them up to your face and whine like a pup who's been hurt, even if it wasn't that hard a bite. This will let them understand the ramifications of use of their teeth. Pups in the wild would be part of a litter and normal pup play includes mouthing and nips, and that teachess them the the strength of their bite. But a pup at home doesn't get that growing experience. So I tried to simulate it. I also use my hand to be a mouth and try to nip the pup. Hahaha, my dog loved that. Hope that helps and would love to see you in April.
  4. Hey Virg, I'm alright- sorting out a lot of things at the moment. I'm working on opening my own bakery xD and getting some night school credits and whathaveyou. The exchange you read was between my mum's best friend and I- I was rather upset by the first message, I must say, which is why it turned into such a looong conversastion.

Puppy is definately teething and HYPER!!! I take him out to walk at least a few hours daily, and he's still a psycho :P. Cam's helping me work with him, though- he's handled dogs his entire life. ; )

How are you? I might be down in NYC in April for a party! Are you right in the city??
  5. How are you doing Becca? Hopefully well. I did enjoy that series of exchanges you blogged. Hey how's the pup doing? Is he in his teething stage yet?
  6. Thanks, Virgil! Have a great New Year.
  7. Happy New Year Becca. I leave you with a present: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=eG3afAIi6IQ. Now I'm not sure I like the back beat they put to it, but the video is fabulous.
  8. Merry Christmas Becca.
  9. =O Oh my! Lol, we chat so much I'd just assumed.
  10. Becca I went to find your profile page by going to my friends list and was amazed you're not listed as a friend. We have to change that, or at least i hope you agree.
