Dead Until Dark is the first one. Best to start with that as the characters are in eac ofthe novels and you really need the back story. The first novel is the first series of the show and they did a really good job with it as well I have to say.
and i'll see if i can track down a True Blood novel...preferably the first one, since i hate begining in the middle of a story....how about Night World? have you read that series?
No I haven't I will give them a try when I have read the True Blood Series there are nine of them
