I'm writing small phrases to experiment with effects, but I'm studying and researching mostly. The goal is a novel, but exercises in short-stories will provide quick and accurate results of my progress, which I will be sure to post.

That is weird that we haven't done that, but we have always found each in spite of it. As you know, I live in NYC and don't drive, so I rarely get an opportunity to hunt. I hardly ever eat meat, but I fish during the summer. I have this luxury as an American, but I have to think of myself when it is a question of survival. Like today: I bought leather boots, because my fabric sneakers weren't holding up. Have you written or posted any new stories since I've been away?
