actually no. My mother-in-law does all the cooking. My husband just went over there to help put the turkey in the oven. I just get to eat today!!! Wishing you and your family a happy thanksgiving
Good morning! are you cooking yourself silly?
Thanksgiving is kind of crazy. Our family all live nearby. We will be eating lunch at my in-laws and then we'll have dinner here with my family. Only not all of my family can come. I always have to be careful about how long we stay at the in-laws or my turkey will be dry. I don't even like turkey very much. I want to fry chicken. Doesn't that sound good? I can still make all of the other stuff to go with it. What's so great about turkey anyway? I don't know how it got to be center stage for Thanksgiving.
I could pass on the turkey as well and just have everything else.
I'm doing ok. Been trying to keep myself busy. I have worked on my resume but I still need to fine tune it somewhat. I have applied for some other local jobs but have not heard from anyone yet. I read your latest blog and have to admit I am jealous that you are now sitting in front of your fireplace. That must be so nice to do on a cold day. I started this past week in my front bedroom trying to organize things and trying to figure out how I want the room to look . I decided not to buy any children furniture at this point. Most likely will wait till we are home with child. I have 2 dressers in there now. Worse case scenario I can use a crib in the interim that my mom has from when my nephews were babies. Other than that I am hanging in and looking forward to the holidays. Are you and your family staying home for Thanskgiving or going to family ? We are going to my husband's mothers house and my mom is coming with us.
I've been thinking a lot about you this past week. How are you and how is the job hunt?
I just wanted to pop in and give you a big hug! I'm so happy for you. <<<HUG>>>
sounds like it's working up to be a great day!
