Happy New Year! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoaTl7IcFs8
Sort of - kind of would like to know your first name if that is permissable to ask. And STILL cna;t find the smileys anymore--it's like they have moved off my screen or something.
Mtpspur is an abbeviation for Metroplitan Tabernacle Pulpit-Spurgeon. He wasa London preacher that published a weekly sermon from 1855 until 1917 for a total of 3563 sermons collected in 63 volumes that took me just under 10 years to read--one sermon a day starting 1 Jan 99 the day fater my oldest son left us in a fury--ah young rage at its finest. I'm one of the few that have completed the series. Charles Haddon Spurgeon is probably one of the greatest men of God He ever blessed the world with but I tend to be biased. Personally HE would be ashamed of me and my lackluster walk with God.
Hey, Rich. OK, but what does mtpspur mean? It always makes me think of the character 'Hotspur" in Shakespeare's "Henry" plays, and I think that would be a cool username. I find the smileys when I use the "go advanced" at the bottom of the message box. I do like the smileys I don't know why, maybe because I can? or maybe because they are fun.
Hey--please call me Rich---much more comfortable that way. For me at least. Where are those smiley icons??? Lately I can;t find them. lol
Anytime, my friend. I will look forward to it. You are an exceptional storyteller, you know!
Thank you very much for the support. For one of the few times I thought I had perhaps been offensive about personal real life matters and maybe I should pull the reins back in. I plan to revisit the subject in about a week as there is some additional food for thought re gard my former daughter-in-law and her roller coaster ride to disaster. Thanks again.
By the way this is presuming you are a BASIC mmeber and not a plus which normally gets you 100 miles a tow if needed. When in doubt--ask the calltaker for an estimate of costs--they will probably use Mapquest and round up or down depending on mood--which is what I do.
Overmiles depends on your club rules. A basic AAA member in our area pays $2.50 plus tax after the first three miles--based on your smidge the driver would probably call it 3 and charge $8.03--but some clubs charge $3 a mile per instance.
Amy and Lucy, that is funny. For some reason your description reminds me of that old Bette Davis movie, a really terrible file, "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte." Remember that one? (And no disrespect ot your wife's friends intended). Sukey was a talker. And she curled up with me ever night. My little cat Phoebe likes to jump. She's mostly an indoor cat, so she is kind of limited, but she goes in my room periodically and jumps on the highest shelf. Sometimes she will jump on one of our shoulders, but we haven't worked with her to get her to stay there. Maybe we should give that a try. It's nice to have someone to talk about cats to. My oldest son and I both enjoy them, but my boyfriend is a dog person. I like dogs, too; actually I just happen to like animals. But he doesn't really like cats. I forgive him.
