I left it uncommentable on purpose. I don't want a food fight. Well, O may speak moderate, but I don't think he's going to govern that way. We'll see. But frankly President Bush tried reaching across the ilse many times and was rebuffed. Education Bill with Sen Kennedy, Immigration reform, etc. I can list more. It takes two to tango. He was just not going to comprimise on national security and for that I applaud him on it. Actually if you go back a few blogs, the one before Gran Torino, you'll find my farewell salute to the Pres.
Your new blog entry isn't giving me the option to comment. I was uncertain if it was on purpose or a mistake. Anyway, I liked your observations about the new Pres' speech. I am very happy with Obama's decision toward moderation rather than leaning extremely left or right. You can't please all of the ppl all of the time, but I feel that the majority of Americans are best represented when moderate views rule. Bush claimed during his first run for office that he would reach across the aisle and make peace between the parties. Maybe Obama will be victorious where Bush failed.
