I'm messing about Bee I should have it when you need it
Hey Tony! Sorry if I came off as a princess. It really is a matter of attentional issues and disorganization. I do want to read them, but I have to keep myself clear of computer clutter. It may make me appear rigid, but I've got to be this way to function well at work and at home. I really do appreciate the offer.
That's very cool! I do want to read them, but not yet. I'd like to ask for them later. I get disorganized and then I can't find them, either in the email or if I print them. I guess I could save them, but the likelihood is pretty high that I wouldn't remember where I filed them. So, thanks for the offer and I will contact you later in the winter or early spring to get them. I want to check out the 9 Stories again.
Bee, I have all the uncollected works of salinger on pdf, he contains all of his pre catcher stories published in the stars and stripes, new yorker etc.. I can email it if you like. tony
Bee, would you really have dated Salinger? Pretty complex fellow.
Yes, this looks really good. It's still loading, so I'll look more deeply this evening, but I think I may have a book to read next. Thank you so much for your assistance. Now, I have more motivation to finish Opium Eater. Thank you. And I will look into The 9 Stories.
http://www.amazon.com/Straight-Till-...6745258&sr=8-2 ok, actually this is a new book on Beryl Markham and on NYTIMES best seller list. She was the girl that chatted with Meryl Streep (karen) in 'out of africa'.
Oh Tony! I can't do it. I hear about this. I think it is her daughter trying to make a quick buck. I don't like girlie things necessarily- more unusual stories. Didn't you mention a book a while back about a female pilot that was mentioned in Out of Africa?
Hey Jersey, http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/new...oots-no-235493 The book (based on audio tapes) on Jackie O. is fun, I think, not sure but most girls like that stuff. She's pretty candid in it.
Interesting facts. I may need to read this short story. As for Princeton, who knows how they got the stories- these stories must be from before he stopped writing. I am finally read non-fiction; The Confessions of an Opium Eater. It's an old book (1821), but it is worth the read. It's short, but I'm not done. I read slowly for several reasons. So can you suggest a fun biography. I don't want to be weighted down by intellectual facts. Just something interesting. I just went back to work and need a little mind candy. It is a happy Monday for me, because I have the day off. US federal holiday- Martin Luther King Day. Cheers to you Tony!
