That's awesome! Just what uni. is supposed to be. I had a very positive college experience. I am having a busy time at work, which has had me regretting returning to work. Just one of those things. Glad you are writing. I'll try to look up some of your stuff. I don't think I have read anything of yours lately, but who can remember? Nice to say hello! jersea
hey Jers! good to hear from you. things are going great. I'm keeping busy. working hard. drinking too much. the usual. uni is pretty great and there are so many interesting people here. i'm writing a lot of poetry too. hows everything with you? hows work? and how's the little guy?
I saw you on Silas' page and I was wondering how things are going.
No, I just didn't get it. It was clear.
thanks Jersea. i guess i didn't stress the parallels between the two women enough.
I posted again on you story!
I read your story and commented. It seems that your writing has changed and evolved since I began read your stuff.
I really do like Hemingway so far. You should read 'A Moveable Feast' it is autobiographical about the days before he was a successful writer, when he was poor, living in Paris and trying to support his wife and child on the money he made writing. He recounts meetings with some other writers at the time like Scott Fitzgerald, Ezra Pound and James Joyce. It's a pretty touching memoir.
I read Old Man and the Sea. It was simplistic, but brilliant at the same time. I'm still trying to roll through this book. Read quite a bit last night. I can see you liking Hemingway.
I loved A Moveable Feast, and i've started For Whom the Bell Tolls. Hemingway is brilliant. I can't believe i have waited this long to read him.
