  1. And... it's back.
  2. Hey! Where did the blog post go? I came to read it again and leave a comment. It was there, right? I couldn't have read it in someone else's blog. I know. I'm confused.
  3. Hey. I'm glad you liked my gift. I guess I did a good job selecting it.
We're both not regular here these days- I can see even you haven't been around much.
    I hope everything's well.
  4. Thank you so much! You know my taste. That was just beautiful!
  5. Where are you?
  6. Happy New Year! A gift for you-->Winter
  7. Sorry it's been a while.

I already regard him with a mixture of fondness and annoyance. And I sure do admit that he - and other rambunctious kids - are interesting and amusing.
Yeah, his sister gives me an idea of the "horror" of living with him, but she wrestles him down often too.

I'm not quite done TSATF yet. I didn't get into it till late, and then the holiday season has meant some running around. Too bad it didn't seem to garner much interest from the book club. I do find it interesting and will be done by the end of the year. (Which usually sounds like a weak promise, eh? But not so bad now.)

    Happy Holidays!
  8. He's just a kid after all. I'm sure you will remember your experience with him with a nostalgic feeling someday. I like to deal with wild kids of his kind. They are so much more life than the quiet ones who are of course endearing for other reasons.

Since he's not really your brother, at least you don't have to bear his presence in your house all the time. Imagine what it could have been if he really had been your brother

Btw, have you finished reading TSATF?
  9. He is exceedingly spoiled, but, as you say, it's the parents' fault. It's complicated situation though, which I won't go into. But, yes, he's funny - in retrospect - by the time I'm telling his latest exploit, or illustrating his interactions with his uncle; but not so funny when he's shouting in my ear, stealing my book, or biting my hands when I restrain him, as he did during a car ride last week. Anyways, I finally know the joys of having a little brother.

That's so funny about your mother's opinion of your negligence!
  10. I'd have liked to know a kid like him. A good laugh never harmed anybody. He does seem a bit too spoiled. However, that is not his fault, his elders should have sense enough to teach him better. To imagine you in the whole episode between this 'wise' uncle and his sweet nephew makes the scene funny or I would have at least thought of this a bit seriously.

Nope! She doesn't think I know much -osmosis or no osmosis. She just thinks I know more than I read- which is negligible according to her.
