I was wrong about teaching ages in the US. It is the same as in Greece; it just seemed longer to me since I'm on the opposite end of college. Is your avatar you?
It took me 4 years and a half. In Greece, we can start teaching when we reach the age of 21.
I've read some of all those nationalities of authors, except for maybe Italian...funny, because I'm part Sicilian. But I love English lit is my favorite. How long did it take you to get your degree? You couldn't teach at age 23 in the US.
Well, I've been reading since I was five, and gradually, I developed a deep love for English Literature. But I could teach French, Italian, Spanish or German Literature as well, I love them all. I think that my love for English Theatre, particularly, led me to this direction.
How did you get interested in English lit?
No, I am Greek. I was born in Athens.
I am curious...are you just in Greece to teach?
Thank you!!!!
Oh, have fun. I've always had sympathy for teachers who had to grade large amounts of papers. My mom only has to grade three people's papers, now that I'm in college.
Oh, Lady Marian, thank you for asking! I participate in Young Teacher's seminars course until the end of the month, and right now, I am taking a break from correcting 25 compositions....Lots of fun...
