Oh.. yes, that has happened to me.. Or at least, at times I've had an experience where I remembered something, or felt a connection, to someone, or some idea, or some memory, which existed before the world... And you?
I meant nothing specific .It seems that things are transformed into symbols . abstract ideas but never fully forgotten . They drown to some deep points and at one moment they float again to the surface . You think you forget it but you do not . Didn't that happen to you sometimes ?
After a long enough time we'll forget everything.. I think. I think we make our life with our thoughts and actions... if you mean forget something painful - yes I think we can forget... and make our lives what we want. Is that what you meant?
It has always been my dilemma.Any how , do you think that we really forget , or forgetting is an illusion too ?
Oh, Caddy.. I really don't know how to answer without more information - it depends on the circumstances. It doesn't happen so often with me that they are different. Are you facing a dilemma right now?
Hi Nikolai Thx for asking . I try to be fine . Tell me Nikolai , if your mind tells you sth and your heart tells you sth else that contradicts your mind , which one would you believe ?
Hi Caddy, How are you?
Hi, Caddy, Sorry for the late reply! I am not really sure why they burn bodies in Hinduism.. I read a little bit about it.. As I understand it, it's to help the soul go back to God, and also to purify the body.
hhhhhhhhhhhh Sorry Nikolai , I wrote the message on my own board . This is the second time I do it . Anyhow that's very nice . And why do u burn the body of the deceased ?
Cows are considered the mothers of humanity, because they give us their milk. In Hinduism there are considered to be three divisions of everything in nature - goodness, passion, and ignorance. Human society is divided in these and usually has a mix of them. Cows are completely in the mode of goodness, though, because they do not hurt anything and they give so much. They don't even kill the grass they eat. So, since cows are our mother, it's considered very wrong to kill one. Also it's in the scriptures.
