Virgil, my problem with Maltese Falcon is that I LOVE Hammett's Continental Op. Spade's attitude as it came across in the book grated on me and I NEVER thought Ms Wonderly was all that. The Op very very rarely bends his principles (if ever more I think about it). Spade just doesn't hold a candle to the Op. Though I'll take him over Nick Charles any day in comparison. It's like Hammett kept making his characters more and more venial as he wrote them. As to the tax disaster yes the nerves and heart have taken a hit but I'm hanging in there thx.
As we speak I am on day 6 of 8 in a row and the fates of AAA members in 6 couties rests in mt hands and my hands alone and I am far from being a beign despot. Actually I'm doing ok--been on a whole new set of meds since the attack and can'r really complain. Thanks for checking on me.

Rich it's steal an avatar weekend and mostly everyone has taken someone else's avatar. I left you a sexy message in one of your old blogs thinking that you would think it's Logos. Of course i was afraid to death it miight send your heart into fibrillation.
I'm getting just a little freaked out at seeing Logos avatar on your photo name. If it's my computer doing it I have absolutely no idea how it happened or how to change it.
