Media is fun lol. For first term this year we watched Slumdog Millionaire and American Beauty like three or more times each to extract themes and metaphors and stuff like that. It's really fun. It's like lit but for film and advertising and stuff like that.
I'll do VCE well, but I won't like it. Studio arts sounds good. Media sounds absolutely ridiculous and difficult.
VCE isn't too bad so long as you pick the right subjects, and keep on top of your work. The Media folio is different because the Studio Arts folio, the one with the shroom, shows the development of work, whereas the Media folio works more like a big instruction booklet, so when the examiners look at it, they should be able to replicate your SAT.
VCE seems hard. However it is good that you are working with something you are comfortable with already. Is this a different folio to the one with the mushroom?
Yeah it was. I had to specify what images/genres/artists etc would influence my work, and seeing as my SAT is going to be pretty dark and gory, Slipknot masks seemed like the perfect inspiration. I managed to finish the inspirations though. I'll bring the folio so you can see it
They could have started at one. But then again I suppose they may have done it on purpose. So that thing you were doing on the day of the Sacred Music Concert, was it for media?
It is...it is also the number of the 9th member of Slipknot (they go from 0-8) which is the wearer of my favorite mask...but like you that is coincidence.
