Unfortunately the mirror can't be lowered, as it's forbidden to make any changes in a student apartemt I just can't understand why the cabinet with mirror doors is so high (and it's tiny too!), while the sink is so low that even I who am only 159 cm tall have to bow down to be able to wash my hands. I don't feel like a heroine, I only can take the pain because there's no other option. I do whine about it a lot though, which isn't very heroic... Thanks for you offer to kick it away, though I really appreciate it, too bad it's impossible. I guess you finally went to sleep? It's far too easy to stay up until the wee hours of the morning... I do that far too often too, especially last summer when I didn't have regular work.

Medicines (most at least) put us in a dumb state in which we don't feel for a while, but when we get back to our senses, we realize the pain is still there because it never left. Medicines are solving "us" instead of solving the problem, so to speak
I'm a bit better now. Tuesday was awful, I was itching so bad I couldn't control myself. Basically I was a bloody mess, quite literally As soon as I got home I took a shower, applied a lot of cream, took medicine and went to bed. Of course I had to wake up later to do some homework, which didn't work that well, but I managed to get the assignments done My "heavy medication" is actually small innocent-looking pills, strong antihistamine, which is supposed to help to ease the itch. The downside is that it increases the amount of sleep I need by several hours a day, makes my reactions slower and my mind a bit foggy. Sure it helps me sleep, but studying is a bit difficult when I take it As my ex-flatmate said: "It only helps because you're too brain-dead to scratch"
I'm just happy there's just the two of us instead of three or four sharing that bathroom. Usually it's not an issue, though, she doesn't take too much time there (our bathroom is very small and has its only mirror so high that a short girl like me cannot see more than some hair and a bit of forehead on it, so there's nothing that would keep one in there for hours ) I take more time showering because of my skin (it's so painful going to shower that once you get over the pain you might as well enjoy the warmth as long as possible), so I usually ask her if she needs bathroom at the moment or is it okay for me to take a shower. Well, not exactly at the campus, but straight next to it (just the wrong campus, as I've got nothing to do in this area dedicated to biology...) So yeah, I guess I do. These student apartments don't belong to the university (university doesn't offer its students any kind of lodgings), but to the HOAS, the Student Housing in the Helsinki Region, who rents apartments for all kinds of students from secondary school level up. I have a room in an apartment I share with one other girl, we both have our own bedrooms (with locks on the doors ) but share kitchen and a bathroom. Oh, Monday did suck, but this Tuesday sucked even more Seems I'm not having the best of weeks here Thank you very much, but I think I'll pass that one suggestion for a new signature I'm curious to hear about what else you can come up with, though
So you live at the University Campus? Does the Uni have dormitories for students or something alike? And how about this Monday? Did it suck more than usual or was it an average sucking?
