Yes, it is most certainly a fascinating piece of art!! But the more I look at it the more it scares me. It's very realistic :-). As for the picture, it was supposed to be one of Eric Bana, the guy who played Hector in the movie Troy. Forget Achilles/Brad Pitt, this guy is ALMOST as handsome as Sean Bean Eric Bana
First, let me extend my sincere gratitude for your willingness to suffer reading my creative work. (-: Now, a question for the smart one. RE: Miranda et al. You know cliche is the kiss of death, right? Do you feel their conversation is "cliche" (I do), and if so, do you have any ideas on how to make introductory conversations "unique"? Thank you exceedingly! Your feedback is always useful.
PS: Your link to the picture gave me nothing. )-: Can you reprovide, sil vous plait?
It's a painting by William Bouguereau called "Dante and Virgil in Hell". The intensely aesthetic angles of the bodies are beautiful, and yet the environment - Hell - is terrible. There's a wonderful, formidable, confusing paradox in the painting that is compelling. I could stare at it for hours (I have studied it rather intensely).
Countess, i found someone for you...http://http://us.movies1.yimg.com/mo...a/hulkpre9.jpg
I know, isn't it fun? And everybody's profiles are so very well done! (The picture, incidentally, isn't quite anime, although I never realized it does kind of look like it. It's a picture of Maeglin from the Silmarillion.) This profile is fascinating. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. The picture is FREAKY, but intense in a passionate sort of way. If that makes sense .
Anime girl! Purple - a very nice color. Your profile also appears Indian / Native American. I am learning so much about people's personalities simply by how they decorate their web page. Making my rounds/checking out profiles.
Hey Countess!! I read your chapters (actually, I read them in one go. Didn't mean to, but I did ) I LOVE what you've done to Miranda. You probably remember I didn't like her much at first because it seemed like she showed up only to die. Giving her a backstory, even if it's as a human slave, has brightened her whole part immeasurably. I have to say it: I LOVE the way you use words. Beautiful words, really, I could get drunk on your writing. In fact, there's a quote about that in Sayers I'll have to dig up for you. You've done something, I think, to Dorian's rescue of Tristan. It's very well done because it shows something of Dorian's humanity even though he turns around and kills a few dozen vampires right after. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Countess! I've really missed you! With the new getup you have to set your blog to allow comments. However, I've saved your chapters to my documents and will read and comment soon. (by the way, thanks! )
Countess I really miss you!! Hope you are ok!
