Excellent, yeah, Hemmingway is great! I'm diving into some Tolkien at the moment - I'm not sure if you care to join me; but I really can't get enough of The Lord of the Rings - and I'll admit, I merely skimmed over it the first time I "read" it, so I'm doing it some justice. Also getting ready to go to the University of Maryland! I'm taking a summer English class that starts August 1st!
HI AC, Sorry I took so long to get back to you. I am currently reading Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea. I'm about a quarter through if you want to read that. Jersea! Always good to hear from you. I read a bit of his stuff, and he is an interesting character. The weather is abolutely wonderful here in Baltimore. I cannot get enough of Baltimore. I am now in the process of reading George Orwell's, 1984, just to see if it lives up to the hype. So far, I am pleasantly surprised - his style really sucks you in. After I finish that, anything's fair game for the summer. Which of Steven Huntley's stories would you reccommend? Does he have a collection? And along another note...I think it's that time of year again for us to pick a book for weekly discussions - I really enjoyed reading Rousseau with everyone. PM me a list of books you'd be interested in, and I'll do the same. Hopefully you're not too caught up in a book right now to do so. Sorry this was a long one, hope to hear from you soon!
