  1. Billl, the word, " below" in " below the Agricultural Remnant Standard" can be a good start. A mix of teas with flowers in smoke is a picture you've thought twice? It is enough to say sth about these two ideas. Thanks in advance. Virginia
  2. Please glance through the work of tea, and say what you feel after you read it. Don't look up for terms or words, those boring stuff. thanks, Virginia
  3. Billl, You can write a short paragraph to express your opinion about my work. Is it understood easily? Is it written well, with good word choice? What is your opinion about the word above? anything honest is welcomed. Virginia
  4. Hi, Virginia, I quickly read through your recent messages--that's great news about the new translation company you contacted. I'm not sure how much I can help with some of the stuff you sent--the challenges of translation can take a while to get the hang of, and you seem to understand some of the issues. But when you deal with that word-for-word type of company, the results are probably going to not be so good, I wouldn't waste too much time on them.
  5. Billl, please read my private messages. Ignore the work about tea. I do not think you will enjoy reading it. Virginia
  6. Billl, I was glad to learn a minute ago that I passed the test offered by another translation company. They want me to translate at home or interpret, after their discussion which lasted from quite a few hours. Virginia
  7. Hi Virginia, if you send that essay to me, I'll take a look at it, but I'm not sure how soon it'll be.
  8. It is a two-page work. It is not long. It is all about teas made from high mountain plants. It is quite interesting toward the end because it has flowers mixed and honey added.
  9. Yes, it really helps. I can understand all at once how a native speaker feels about a translated sentence, for example the prisoner handover is sth that never came to me, no matter how much I read, or how big an encyclopedia is that I've ever looked into. Thanks
  10. I just sent it, Virginia--but a lot of times I am not online long enough to respond with much, or am busy with other things, maybe it isn't a good time for me to be thinking about tranlsation/grammar/vocab, etc.--but I know it sounds like you are in a hurry to send out an email, so I hope that helps.
