  1. You are assuming that such a mutation exist, and that is not certain. From history we know that there are people who recover from untreated pneumonic Plague, but they are quite rare. In recently documentated cases, the mortality rate approaches 100%, but there are so few cases that thee sample size does not give a decent profile of the population at large. It is also possible that some people simply do not contract the disease. Those people would not be counted as cases, so they wouldn't be in the mortality rate. There's only one way to know for sure.

I pobably could PM it to you, but I would have to send it by chapter, which would be O.K.
  2. Ahhhh. Okay...I'll buy that, but it'll never reach 100%. Those with mutations that make them immune to it will live on and the weaker ones will die off. All about the survival of the fittest.

It's not possible to send it on here, or do you need my email address?
  3. Yees, 00% is almost impossible. That's why I wrote that it approaches 100%.

O.K., let me know how to get it to you, and I will.
  4. Very true.

Now, back to the Pneumonic Plague...it's not possible for 100% mortality rates. There's always going to be one person whose immune to it because of a mutation in their DNA.

Hey, just send it over when you're finished rewriting.
  5. That would depend on what the mosquito was carrying

It's about reliable people and the decrease of the population of humans by more that two thirds. It is also about self-characterization. I have finished it,but I have been convinced that people would prefer to read about it, if it were setup differently.
  6. Well, it's on a higher level than just one mosquito bite.

I'll wait, but I have a feeling I'll be waiting for a while....
And of course I want to read it! What's it about?
  7. O.K., then out it on the same level as a mosquito bite.

You haven't seen it yet. Just wait. Would you be interested in reading my horror novel after I finish the rewrite?
  8. Because. They're plagues. It's like saying you like mosquito bites.

100%, you say? I've never seen mortality rates reach 100% before.
  9. Why not?

But I wasn't referring to plagues; I was referring to the Plague, especially Pneumonic Plague. Untreated, the mortality rate approaches 100%.
  10. I don't like plagues.
