LMAO, you are in a biting mood this evening. I've read that each of the three chapters are written in separate style. What I've read so far, a single paragraph, seems like the omnipresence of old, minus the stream-of-conscious. I wouldn't start until December anyway. I know you're also a poetry man, so here's another question. I read Inferno and Longfellow's translation compelled me to pick up a collection of his verse and then I got this urge to read one of the "Romantics", for reasons I won't humble myself with by divulging. I picked up Keats today. I have Blake on my shelf, but I don't think my minds ready for him. Would you have recommended another to start with? I was between Wordsworth and Keat, but my interest in Hyperion beat out The Prelude.
So how is The Sleep Walkers? I wonder if it's in the same ridiculous style.
No, but I decided to read Broch's The SleepWalkers and wanted to see if he won you over.
No. I don't know if I will. It really sucked. Did you ever pick it up?
Hey Virg, Did you finish The Death of Virgil?
Hey there. You might like this personal essay I wrote in my blog: http://www.online-literature.com/for...4#comment38484.
Thanks. I just corrected that. I had no idea that members were so eager to comment; I don't want disappoint my fans.
Nick, no one can comment in your blog. There is a default in blog control panel you need to change. Unless of course you don't want people to comment.
Nick - Lawrence's short stories are among the best.
It will be released on the October 16. I'm interested in seeing it, but I am always weary of the filler screenwriters include when making a 90 minute film out of a children's book.
