  1. Sweet? Me? ('',) I'm only human, sometimes I lose my temper really quickly usually with my younger siblings or people who make really stupid remarks. I'm optimistic when people are around me but when I'm on my own I'm usually very dark, pessimistic and cynical. Yikes!
  2. I must say Opti, you have such a positive and sweet disposition. It's quite contageous. Do you ever get angry?
  3. Is there realy someone named booby? That is funny. I haven't read that since college undergrad, which was ages ago. I couldn't remember anything from it.

Oh feel better. You shouldn't be so doctor-phobia. As you get older you should have regular check ups. I hope you feel better. What do you have, the flu?

I am fine thank you. Just very busy at work, but now it seems to have calmed down.
  4. Hello!

Thank you for asking about me!

I've been thinking of you recently actually - - because I'm re-reading Vanity Fair so I can write about it on my blog and there is a character in the novel who calls her husband 'booby'. Somebody definitely calls somebody else that. I'm not making it up!

I'm a bit under the weather at the moment but not completely - I just hope it doesn't get any worse. I'm not taking any medication because the last time I was at the doctors was when I was born and God-willing the next time I will be at the doctors is for an autopsy - if I'm murdered (in a nice way) or I will never have to go again! Whoop whoop! I just don't have the time and the NHS is annoying. It takes days to make an appointment, hours on the phone and by the time they give you an appointment you're better already. I wonder if it's just me, if they've blacklisted me or something....

    How are you?
  5. Hey there. What's the latest in the optimistic world of yours?
  6. I'll PM you the links.
  7. I mean 'during' March? - Would that make it for April ?
  8. Hello

Do you know what we are reading for March?
  9. Yes. If you're at the Lit Network main page, the Book forum s the sixth forum down. This is inside te forum: http://www.online-literature.com/for...splay.php?f=15. You can go through and see all the past discussions of the books selected. You can even put in an opinion now to one you have read or are reading. This is the current January book discussion: http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=40824. This year we voted on choosing by genre and January was Thriller genre, and here is the vote for February, which is the Young Adult genre: http://www.online-literature.com/for...ad.php?t=40041. We have fun trying to jostle and conjoled others to vote for our favorite, and then the discussion is usually pretty good. Hope that helps. I guess it's not the same as a face to face book club discussion, but then one doesn't have to be prepared at a certain day and have the book finished by then. You can enter the discussion as you are ready.
  10. We have a book club? I think I've joined a few, do we have a 'proper' real one? One that more or less everyone is joined to? If so, would you give me the link? Although I love everyone here, even those I don't love (!), an online book club just isn't the same as a ....'real' one. Am I going to be flogged? For one thing it is really time consuming writing your thoughts rather than speaking them. You never get an instant 'live' conversation/debate and there's no cake and tea and biscuits!
