Brush up on your analysis skills. I can underrstand clearly the meaning of this poem.
I dentify with lions, so I like them like myself. Tigers are closely related, but I don't feel as strongly toward them. I can interpret the poem, but my interpretation may be wrong. Literature, including poetry, is a conversation with the reader. If the author issn't clear, then the conversation breaks down.
Well, I am closer to tigers. I just love them. But you don't tell lions your love? But lions aren't what you like?
The poem is clear in it's meaning? You could understand it? Me personally, I think I understand it clearly....
I have great feelings for lions and tigers, but especially for lions. In addition, my style is quite leonine (that is, lionlike). I don't feel so close to tigers. But I don't tell lions my love.
That poem almost makes sense, but it is a ery open work.
Never seek to tell thy love, Love that never told can be; For the gentle wind does move, Silently, invisibly. I told my love, I told my love, I told her all my heart; Trembling, cold, in ghastly fears, Ah! she doth depart. Soon as she was gone from me, A traveller came by, Silently, invisibly; He took her with a sigh. Does this make sense to you?
And are lions and tigers your style? Do you have feelings for them?( using your words).
I like Lions and Tigers when they're alive...and not eating people. Wait, ghost tiger? whata what?
Good, then I know one thing not to serve when I get you to a barbeque.
