Yes, lack of sleep is a big enemy... Not just to the child but to you guys. Get the Mrs a glass of sweet red wine, tell her to take a long relaxing bath in some expensive salts and then rest. Mum's don't realise, that when baby rests, they should rest too. Alright then... Get yourself one too... hahahaha
Poor dear, sounds like you and the Mrs have your hands full. I think he understands actions better than words at the moment due to the language barrier. But give it time. He'll learn. Be on his back about learning the language. Otherwise he will use the actions more. I'm not a philospher or a physcologist, just a parent who has learnt the hard way. I do admit I was into child physcology when the children were younger and used some tips I had learnt from books and a documentary. Your poor Mrs, I do feel for her.
Well I am rather an odd person. Family, don't ask! Dealing with those problems are a difficult task. Now in reference to keeping your young man busy. Find out what the young fellow enjoys the most and focus on that area. Plan out his day, kids his age love routine. Unfortunately he has to go through that running around stage. Andy was like that. I made up a roster of games for him to play; mental and physical games, like playdough, painting, a walk then bath and bed. It worked for me. We had a Jolly jumper and when ange was in that we would sing the alphabet to him, so his brain was working more than his legs. He spent more time using his brain than his energy. It was my weird idea, but it worked. Reading wasn't only done at night but rostered in during the day and in the bath. It worked for him and he calmed down physically and spends more time using his brain. I wished somebody had done that to me as a child. Maybe I would be much calmer these days...
Ha! I've grown three grey hairs and one more wrinkle waiting for that doorbell to ring... Hahahaha... Don't know about the cheesecake, I am the only one in the family that doesn't like them. Go figure!
Waited all night Tuesday... Hmmmm! Cheesecake has melted and coffee's cold... Hmmmm!

Oh dear Virgil... Such a joy to hear the good news. My heart goes out to you and Puss, but you guys have such big hearts, you don't need mine. Best wishes and good luck with everything. Will be fabulous when you have the young lad at home... You won't even know yourself. Be prepared for parenthood... because it has finally arrived. Mwah to the Virgil family xoxoxoxoxo
I know they are so much better than the ones I had. But the ones I had were photos of the photos.
Guess what Virgil, my girl managed to get the original photos uploaded on her USB, from school. So I will be able to upload the originals... So very excited. Have to wait until tonight though as she has the USB at school.
