  1. Logos,
While posting a new thread yesterday I accidentally posted it twice. being a moderator, could you remove the second one for me? Make it the one with less views listed please. I didn't mean to "flood" I assure you. Oh, and before I forget, have a Merry Christmas. The snow has only been visible in the San Gabriel mountains for about a week now, but it's off in the distance. Don't trip on any frozen tulips in your wooden shoes.
    Thank you kindly,
Steven Hunley (the thread is called Mike and Frieda)
  2. Just had a flash. Huxley could write fiction, but I think he's hottest in his essays. You note than in his biography they mention conversations where he was spellbinding, his erudition quite obvious. I think this shows in his essays. What has this got to do with you? Read "A Sermon in Cats."( if you haven't already)
  3. Thanks for request. Read Huxley's bio about 6 months ago. Read all of Maugham I could find. Fav. Liza of Lambeth. Surfing this site my impression is: This particular litter of kittens is really well read! The local librarian was getting tired of reading my stuff. Good to have you as a contact. I may need reports on tulips or something. Thanks again.
  4. Welcome to LitNet Steven, I hope you enjoy it here
