I must admit I felt a bit bad. They are irksome though.
Timely and effective...Thank you !
Hi Gilliatt. I certainly did enjoy it! A brilliant piece. Paul
Paul, I posted a humorous piece regarding your new sheds on the Blokes thread. Enjoy. Gg
We are, at this moment, in the midst of a blizzard here in northern Illinois. I am settled in my hotel room sipping a Makers Mark Kentucky bourbon with a splash of Mountain Dew. Umm, umm! We are expecting about 30cm to 40cm of snow by midday tomorrow. .
Yes - I think all the chaps are in a kind of accord.
I've always considered you a friend to the point that it goes without saying, but now we may call it official. Gilliatt
Hi Gilliatt, I think I sent you a friend request - i meant to anyway. I'd send all the chaps on the Cold Ale thread a friend request, but I'm not sure if that's the blokey thing to do. How's it going? I've just had a look at you picture of the canoe with your son. Great picture. Paul
Paul, I was home as of this past weekend, in fact I am about to catch my ride back to the airport to head back to Illinois. The assignment was extended to the end of February. I'll have one more intermediate weekend trip. Cheers Gilliatt
Hi Gilliat, How's it going? They have the Godiva festival here in coventry every year to commemmorate her charity towards the poor - the story goes that she asked her husband Lord Leofric to lower the taxes, and he said he would if she were to ride naked through the town. She did, and, out of respect, the townspeople all went indoors except for Peeping Tom who was blinded by God. There's a clock with Lady Godiva on a horse and Peeping om who looks out and clutches his eyes in the City Centre. It's a nice festival usually done by charitable organisations. My wife says that all the factories would contribute a float in the past, but alas, that has stopped now. There is old footage of the festival going back to the turn of the century in the local museum. Are you back home yet, or are you still on a trip? I'm lucky that I work fairly locally, and so I can ride the bike to most places I have to go. Paul The a
