2. PrinceMyshkin wrote a poem this week called "Only Connect" and I reminded him that I wrote one awhile back that started with those same two words. They are the preface to Forster's "Howard's End." Anyway the dirty rat looked it up and reposted it in Personal Poetry, if you care to take a look (and have the time). I have written some this winter and spring, but I doubt I do much more until school gets out. Have fun with your friends. !. Absolutely, ac! I'll keep an eye out, or you can let me know, of course. I'm sure you are busy; the seniors at my school certainly are. I have not heard of the school you're going to, but I'm sure it's a good one. Most importantly, have fun. Parties, of course, but that goes without saying. The activities will be with a more esoteric, more diverse group, and while I did hit a period of profound disinterest in school about my junior year-in fact I dropped out for awhile-I did discover a renewed and deeper interest in what we call education. It was probably the first time I really felt like I was learning, growing, and expanding as a person. You will do well, though. Your busrsting with energy and inteeligence, so I don't know why I'm bothering with the pep talk. I guess it's my graduation gift to you.
Yep, graduation is on June 6th, and I will most definitely be there. After graduation I'll probably be hanging around until August, and then it's off to the University of Maryland, College Park. Glad to hear about the new family additions, I actually caught up with jersea a few days ago. I've actually been writing a few poems, and I'd love for you to take a look! Would you like me to post a thread?
