Hello pretty Filipina, I haven't forgotten your Email but I am now in sight of the end of my latest book and feel driven to complete it. I have the ending firmly fixed in my mind and it is quite exhilarating to know that the last 25 pages are ready and waiting to be written. Naturally, as is my nature, it ends in tragedy but there is some comedy along the way as well as some comment on the unreliability of human nature. If you think this indicates a bit of a dog's breakfast, you are probably right but I do what I can. Thinking of you, Brian.

Thanks for the email, I shall reply soon as I can because, at the moment, I am at last continuing to write more of my novel which has been on the back burner for a while. It is now past page 200 and I am aiming for 250pp so still a way to go, although I have more or less got the ending worked out. Tomorrow, I have to go out to get another Norton security disk as my current one runs out within the next 4 days. I never give my credit card number over the Internet so it's another trip into town I'm afraid. You can be sure that I will avoid the murderous rush hour which is too stressful to contemplate. At the moment it's 9 O'clock in the evening and I am just about to prepare my evening meal of a small salad and a decent bottle of red wine; French naturally. Be good and take it easy on the studying. Brian.

Ma chère Princesse, Comment va tu après tous ces jours? I have missed you too and was on the point of sending an Email asking if you were having computer problems. I was pleasantly surprised to see your avatar, having arrived home from dining in town with some Chinese friends, because it lets me know that you are not completely out of circulation. I have recently bought a digital camera and I will try to Email some pictures to you. In the meantime, stay faithful to your avatar which always reminds me of how you really look. Hi Princess, Sorry to have posted a couple of blank messages, but for some reson the pictures that I want to send only translate into that annoying little box with a red cross in it. I think it has something to do with the heavy protection measures that Vista applies to the sending of certain data via the internet, although it lets me send pictures by Email. But don't quote me on it, I hate jumping through the computer's hoops and only enjoy using it in as straightforward a manner as possible. Hope you are OK. Brian
