I was walking down the street and a yellow cannary was sitting over him :PP I only read Hamlet in portuguese. One year ago (a little more) I got my hand in a Complete Shakespeare in english, I am reading the plays I didnt plus all that was in english. I am however, following the order and doing it between the reading of the books, so I didnt get in Hamlet yet. Anyways, Hamlet is one of the most perfect characters I ever saw build for a play. Everything is so organized in the play to match his personality (plus the so distant denmark), giving that play a sensation of a dream, or at least, a challenge to reality. Make me think of Dom Quixote, Alice in the Wonderlands or some XX literature (like Joyce or Borges)...why Hamlet? Are you going to argue that Blake was Hamlet under disguise ?

I would say mystery is fair for religion, Science is something but people discuss like crazy what makes no sense... There is another thread about The Tyger, it is just named The Tiger, search it :P
I think most people waste their time in the religion x science debate :P I found good communities to discuss literature as well. Exchange of ideas is quite good, altougth I read some letter of Tchekhov some other day and he was saying "i know I only talk about literature, must be a sign of old age" I would say that the best way to understand anything related to english literature is reading a lot, but the language... I am just tricking you to believe I am good
Yes, it is very strange to see us filling pages and pages on that thread and nobody ever coming to disagree or agree with anything we said. I never studied english (I live in Brasil, never left here)
