Hahaha. I was a messy kid. Actually I had the messiest notebooks while going to school. People would ask me how can I find anything in there and I always said I knew exctly where everything was. And I'm still messy. My study is usually a mess and my wife (kind of like a parent ) is always after me to straighten it up. I don't think it's creative though, just lazy.
Well,yes,I figured out since when I'll come to the States I will notify you,then we can befriend each other in advance...And also,I have lots of work to do to convince you that a messy room helps make one creative!
