I'll help you with the planning when it gets closer. If it's easier for me to call around and look things up, I'll be glad to do it.
Ouw, yes!!! An angel would be there then! Well, youth hostel or B&B would cool as well. Of course we need good planning on this, not sure how though. Last year the Roskilde gathering was just blown out. But hopefully, we'd be able to make it this time. It would be soo cool
No Niamh has not talked to me. It would be wonderful. I don't know how many I can set up in my house, but you know we should have a little one by then, if all goes well. Also not sure what the wife would say, but perhaps I can twist her elbow. If you gve me some lead time, perhaps I can check on the hotels in Staten Island, which might be more resonable than those in Manhatten. If you give me some lead time, I'll take a week off from work and take you around.
Virg, I went out with Chava yesterday and we were seriously talking about having the Litnet big gathering, with NYC as the most potential venue. Have chatted with Niamh yesterday as well and the 3 of us think somewhere in March next year would be nice. What do you think? P.S.: Chava asked me to ask you whether we can camp in your backyard? . And I tought, 'yeah, we can mow the grass, trim the flowers in exchange. We just need the bathroom.'
Yap, Virg. Back to the addiction....the forum!
Subby, you got you're old avatar back.
I'm now in Bahrain. Kind of dull; compare to Dubai, I really feel the desert atmosphere here..
Absalom Absalom is his hardest novel. I would not have recommended that for you. Are you traveling again? Now where are you off to? Keep safe.
Virg, Faulkner is giving me 'hard time'. I find his language quite hard to understand. I took Absalom Absalom with me to the airport. Few pages, then I gave up. I had to spend some money to buy a book in the airport because flying without a book to read can be really painful!
Keep us posted!!!
