Merry Christmas Shalot.
Oh really? I didn't object. A good slap across my head does me good every once in a while.
I think they removed that song thread...must not have liked the Dennis Leary I guess...how funny
Well, it's not my favorite topic either. But I can understand how it's more sensitive to someone from the south.
yes I did see it. I'm not up to speed on Faulkner so that didn't come to mind when I read your comment and I was trying to figure out what you were talking about. As far as Faulkner goes, I've read Sanctuary and Light in August, and that's it and I read them when I was about 13. I read them once through, on my own, and I wasn't looking for any themes that might have been present, and I didn't discuss the books with anyone or reflect on them, so I didn't really get a whole lot out of those readings. And as far as racial identity goes, it's not my favorite topic.
Hey did you see my explanation on the south and racial identity? I don't necesarily think its prevelant or even real, but when Mom-H said what she said I thought of Faulkner.
Thanks. I was trying to make it more like a story and not just a journal entry. I went back and re-read and there are a couple of mistakes and it could use some more work, and I guess I'll re-edit it later. But I appreciate your comment, because I did actually try to make it sort of story-like. So again, thanks!!
Hey Shalot. I really enjoyed your last blog. Nothing like a good Catholic mother.
No it was notdirected at you at all. I was talking about the intern who plastered his pictures on the internet and then was caught. Why would I have directed that at you? I have no knowledge of anything you did.
I really hope that the last comment you put on my blog entry was not directed toward me. If it is, it's uncalled for. So, before I go off on you, I wanted to ask. ~ thanks.
