I knew it would be colder there than here, but 14C! Shiver me timbers, mate!!!
And a happy New Year to you. 47F, eh? We have -10C/14F here. /Claes
Happy New Year, /Claes! It's 47 degrees fahrenheit here. Not to cold, but cold enough, I reckon! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBOYYlanm1k
That is grand.
Yes, it is. Nothing fancy, just peace and quiet with the family, but that IS my idea of a grand day. /Claes
Thank you, Claes. I'm back again with birthday wishes. Hope it's a grand day all around.
Thank you, and I wish you the same. Have you been doing any painting? /Claes
Merry Christmas!
Thank you. This is a first. At least, I don't think my pictures have inspired anyone to bring out the brushes before, and I'm really glad you told me about it. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. /Claes
Hey, I attempted to paint the picture of the little house in the snow. I am just an amateur, so it is just OK. The shed doesn't look to bad, actually, but I haven't painted the fence yet. I think I need something for masking, and then I need to put shadows in so you can even tell there are little piles of snow on the fence posts. It may be a little beyond me right now. I put a large spruce tree in on the right-where it looks like an evergreen might be behind that post. It was the first time I've drawn/painted one and it actually turned out pretty good. Overall, the art world is not going to be clamoring for my services anytime soon, but I did enjoy myself. Your photography is fantastic!
