you failed in being human. you exceled in teaching me what love could be. you exceled in making me happy for as long as one person can.. you exceled in showing me forgivness of myself and others. you exceled in mending my past. you exceled in teaching me trust. you exceled in showing me areas i need to grow up in. you exceled in showing me i had the wrong idea about life and the wrong prosepective. for everything you say you "failed in" i can find at least three things you exceled in. and the things you think you failed in where mostly my failures i selfishly let you take blame in.
I failed in keeping you interested. I failed to not give you the adventures, or whatever you needed. I failed not to be clear enough about what I was willing and ready to do. I failed because I didn't express myself correctly, and that's how I can't make the clock go back and undo what I did wrong. I failed not to be the proper candidate. I failed.
you can not take blame for everything as much as i know you want to. In us there was a Max and a Stephanie. Max had downfalls but so did Stephanie. neither one of them can fully take blame. it was just a bad situation and bad timing all around. but at least we are happy friends. and not still exchanging yelling hate filled emails thats a plus right?

so a year ago yesterday I met an amazing man. but for some odd reason I failed to promise him my hand Maybe it was distance, or just lack of time But in my heart, I find no reason or rhyme I miss him dearly, with time we grow apart But always remember you have my heart.
