It's a variant of a verse from a poem I wrote some time ago in Spanish, for a poetry contest where I often participate. It got to semifinals It's about a man mourning for his beloved as she agonizes in a hospital bed. I haven't written a full English version though. It's difficult to adapt from one language to another, especially if you want to meet rhyme and metric patterns. Tough job
