I teach high school; this year I'm going to teach Reading II and III-I work at an inner-city school in Dallas, Texas. Our students often do not read outside of class, and often read below grade level. Tex Avery, the creator of Bugs Bunny, was a graduate of our school, by the way. It was a more upscale part of town in the 1920's and 30's, and in fact, is undergoing regentrification-not such a good thing for us, as our student population is decreasing somewhat. Yes, I figured it out! It was fun, and thank you.
