Oh, that's terrible about the birthday parties! My mother had one for me every year until I was thirteen. I loved them. So much fun!
I can relate... "Here is your Christmas/birthday present wrapped in Christmas paper!" I only had one childhood birthday party...because everyone was always "partied out"!
