For me it was like vacation. Now that the power is back I have loads of laundry and a long list of chores to do. When there’s no power the clean standard is lowered a bit and I was able to do all of my chores by 9:30 or so. I also have some homework, but I had worked ahead so it’s not bad. I kind of enjoyed it.

Oh just the crumbling of the Obama administration. We had some bad weather the day you got yours but nothing out of the ordinary for a crappy January day. Glad things are well with you. You know Kim won the young adult book forum.
things are fine. Over a week with now power . The ice did melt, but it's cold again. I'm not able to get much school work done so I've come into the community college to use their computers today. You wouldn't believe all the things I can cook on top of a wood stove. It's been a big adventure, but I'm ready for live as usual. Did any of the bad weather make it up your way? I haven't seen or heard any national news in over a week. I have no idea what's going on in the world.
How are things going? Is the ice at least melted? We had a warm day up here but cold weather expected to return shortly, perhaps tomorrow.

There’s no place to comment on your new blog entry. I figure that was a pretty smart move. My thoughts are so trivial in comparison, but whenever a president leaves office I like to see how the years have changed his appearance. They go in looking so young and come out looking so much older, much more than just four or eight years older. I’m sure the office is a heavy burden.
I started Kim last summer. I don't know why I put it down.
