Great. Short stories are so much more managable and they have such a compact story that many people find the satisfying. We are currently reading a story called "The Princess." The electronic text can be found here: http://gutenberg.net.au/ebooks04/0400311h.html#s12. This is one of the longer stories though. And be forworn that Janine insists on going almost sentence by sentence. But we do realize a lot of what Lawrence is doing. I will have to say also that Janine and I know Lawrence very well, more so than the average person. I did my master's thesis on Lawrence and Janine has read him for years and is obssessed with his work.

I live in Wollongong in NSW which I love but I have been to Adelaide and for good reason we call Adelaide the city of churches I could also see myself living there. If you ever get the chance you should come and visit it is a truly beautiful city as most of Australia is - although I may not be impartial on that one!!
I've learned so much about people around the world. I have such a respect for muslims that I would never have gotten anywhere but here. Or actually being in their countries. And Aussies too. You know, i have relatives in Adelaide. Never been there but some have come to visit us.

We keep hearing about the slow down here to but I am yet to see it. I am off between Christmas and new Year so hopefully the weather will improve a little bit and we can get to the beach. It has been raining here for weeks on and off
Busy, busy. I was hoping things would slow down in December but no. Hopefully will slow down in a couple of weeks. I'll be taking some time off for the holidays.
