as a feather; no burdens and no controls.
It's all inside the head, a peace and a disorder,
the heaven and the hell, and a saviour and a killer.
Pills merely cannot save you from falling into a pit
of your own fears, when they rebound constantly.
Life puts on the color the way you respond to it,
and you know that you can be a soulmate or a foe to yourself.
In a tumultuous time, you get to know yourself better,
when you need to find the keys, just to set yourself free.

One stops for a while just to take care of one's garden,
to bloom flowers for the coming spring, and to thank god
for whatever one still has got, at the moment, forgetting
the things that fell and shattered in the storm that passed.

So many things are flying inside my head,
Like dusts in the desert, scatterring in the air.

Once, I smashed the mirror in the state of emptiness,
As the world turned colorless and everyone seemed faceless.

I reminisce when the life was so much flooded with melancholies,
And I wailed in the roaring deluge, ranting that the god doesn't exist.

When the life was blowing in the storm of insanity, hopelessness prevailed,
And I banged my head, shouting to my reflection, why these turmoils never end.

While the droplets of rain crashed onto the peaceful pool of water, creating ripples,
I realized our mind is peaceful otherwise, if not tampered by the droplets of feelings.

The twinges of rejections, dejections casted by the world, and my weaknesses and addictions,
In differnt faces, crippled this life, sporadically, but this heart thanked them for their aggravations.

Once I was a prisoner, locked and lost inside the appalling prison, and when released as a bird from the cage,
I am liberated and flying, running wherever I can, and I am walking on a different road, never been walked before.

(i)

It's not fair to restrain free birds
inside a cage who are supposed to be free,
as their wings yearn for a freedom,
and their restlessness plea
the passers-by to be eternally free.

Part not the inseparable soulmates into a pit of misery.
They are passionate lovers, and so young,
and so full of love, yet their souls are desperate,
and so scared of their boundaries, demarcated
by the rusted ideologies of the hypocrites.

Love as pristine it should be,
untouched and unspoiled by theologies,
unbiased to ethnicities,
and unharmed by the claws of society.

Shackle not their frolicsome innocence.
These exquisite buds aspire to sprout,
and yearn for a warm sunshine to radiate,
but their liveliness withers from the malicious
and contagious contemplation of society's maledictions.

The silence moans with her rising despair.
Tears are just unruly in her eyes,
and her gloom permeates into the atmosphere.
Then, a breeze sighs, and the door laments.

Her wailing makes a passionate plea to the ear of mulish society,
but their cruel intentions always repressed her innocence.
Now, she will not speak, nor she will complain.
Oh, can't you see how she is burning in her desperation?

Her lover, as he reminisces, feels so worthless and lame,
demeaned by the self-righteous swines, and with his watery eyes,
his anguish infuriates, and insinuates his mind
to inflict his own shattered existence.

His life is empty without her, and the vacuum remains,
but, he is now severely wounded, and how long can he battle
with the senseless fences that the phony society intrigued
in pride, flagrantly and inhumanely, to inflict their innocence?

A cold dagger shines restlessly in his shivering hand to chase
the screaming afflictions, and to cease the armageddon
that ends in sheer silence, bitter than anything,
when the oozing of blood colour the earth with crimson red,
that depicts nothing but a tragic ending of desperate love.

(ii)

The flames of fire are the claws
that devour the painless body.
Nothing remains in the end,
just the ashes, that drift astray...

(iii)

Between us
An uneasiness
For a long time

You cry for the thing
That I cannot give
I run, I hide

You linger
For the truth
I break the silence

Your emotional face
And your tearful voice
Urges me to swear

I cry within
You read my face
The cat is out of the bag at last

Bus arrived so soon
You wiped out the tears
But, they kept falling

I didn't like that crowded bus
No place for comfort
A tiring travel

The shedding tears
Blotted your eye shadows
You cried with a broken heart

I felt bad, so bad
You cried covering your face
Recalling the things said a while ago

So, I gave you
My shoulder to cry
To rest your burdened head

You loved sleeping
On my shoulder
I guessed so

You felt my heartbeats
I was at a loss for words sometimes
You listened to my every single word

I read your face
I hesitated to speak
The vehicle kept moving

You presented me the birthday gifts
Holding tears in your eyes
I captured that moment in my heart

You overwhelmed me
You had collected my poetry
You picked some of your favourites

Caravan of vehicles in front of us
The vehicle paused
Again a plenty of time to talk

The engine groaned
Still a sluggish pace of the bus
Our stations were still far

I made you cry
I calmed down your mind
I was a sinner and a sage

The vehicle stops
The road separates
I bid you goodbye

I whisper to you
Live for the moment
Who knows about tomorrows

(iv)

Life is woven by fragile strings.
The rising hopes crashed suddenly,
Muting their anticipations forever.

Stacks of pyres cover the lifeless body.
The pitiless flames of fire dance
In front of the watery eyes.

The smokes of the burning funeral pyres
Lift the weightless soul to the heaven,
Escorted by the silence of the end.

The dancing flames of fire die out,
Leaving an empty space, filled with ashes,
And the sign of undeniable and ultimate truth.

The ashes fly and scatter in the air,
And they embrace the holy river
To set an another voyage.

The imageries of reminiscences,
And the burns of hopelessness
Still echo in screaming silence.
